Nací en Barcelona el año 1954 un caluroso mes de Julio. Descubrí a muy temprana edad mi verdadera vocación, las Artes Plásticas, al realizar un bajorrelieve de un caballo, utilizando una cuchara rascando el yeso de la pared de mi habitación en el domicilio de mis padres, cuando tenía 3 años. A la edad de ocho años copiaba pinturas de los clásicos como hobby, utilizando las pinturas y láices de colores que siempre pedía que me regalasen. Todos los vecinos y amigos sabían de esta afición y me pedían cuadros para fomentar mi aprendizaje. Estudie Procedimientos Pictóricos y Escultóricos en la Escuela de Artes Aplicadas y Oficios Artísticos de Barcelona y después Bellas Artes en la Facultad de Barcelona. A continuación, realicé Estudios de Diseño Gráfico y Artes Gráficas, introduciéndome en el mundo fascinante de la publicidad. Durante este periodo profundicé con el ordenador realizando obras con herramientas digitales y sin dudarlo un momento, me aparto por completo de los pinceles, tubos de pintura, acuarelas, el compresor y el aerógrafo con sus anilinas y todas las herramientas que habitualmente hacía servir para mi trabajo.

La exposición Arte Digital de la Nau Ivamow, se pudo observar una colección de obras hechas con las técnicas tradicionales y más conocidas para reproducir el cuerpo humano. La iluminación y el color son fundamentales en toda la obra pasada, presente y futura. Estas pinturas hablan por sí solas. Son lo que en ellas se ve, y sugieren lo que es evidente. Siempre huyo de la abstracción para recuperar un poco la estética y modelo que puede dar una información concreta del tiempo en el que soy contemporáneo. Todas están realizadas a través del ordenador asistido por tableta digitalizadota en tiempo real y con las técnicas tradicionales.
Es muy difícil difundir el arte digital desde los circuitos habituales del arte (Galerías, museos, muestras... etc.) Al tomar esta decisión las puertas se cierran y los artistas quedamos suspendidos en el vacío. Muchas personas piensan, que es la maquina quien hace el trabajo y no es así. Un pincel es incapaz de hacer por si solo, nada en absoluto. Es la mano que lo guía, quien pintará una puerta o una Gioconda. El arte digital no es fruto de la casualidad y encontraremos imágenes generadas con ordenador que nos gustarán y otras no. Eso también pasa con el arte tradicional muy a menudo.
Solo pretendo comunicar visualmente lo que es difícil expresar solo con palabras. Por eso mi trabajo no necesita un tomo guía de interpretación visual.

During this period I deepened with the computer accomplishing works with digital tools and without doubting it a moment, I move away for I complete of the paintbrushes, pipes of painting, watercolors, the compressor and the airbrush with their anilines and all the tools that habitually he made to serve for my work.

The exposition the Digital Arte of the Nau Ivamow, could observe a collection of made works with the traditional techniques and more acquaintances to reproduce human body himself. Illumination and the color are fundamental in the whole the last, present and future work. These paintings talk to themselves for himself. They are that in them shows, and they suggest what is evident. I always flee away from the abstraction to recover a little esthetics and model that can give a concrete information of the time in which I am contemporary. They everyone are realized through the computer once real time was attended to by digitizing tablet and with the traditional techniques.
It is very difficult spreading out the digital art from the habitual circuits of art ( Galleries, museums, samples ... etc.) When doors take this decision they close and artists got flunked in the vacuum. Many people think, that the machine is who does the work and is not that way. A paintbrush is incapable of making by oneself, swim at all. It is the hand that drives it, who will paint a door or a Gioconda. The digital art is not the chance's fruit and we will find images generated with computer that we will like it and other ones not. That also happens to the traditional art very often.
Only I attempt to communicate what is difficult to express only with words visually. That's why my work does not need a tome guide of visual interpretation.
